Preferences

When using software to run a business, your company will need to set up the preferences of that software to fit your daily needs. Cool Running Manager offers a Preferences area to customize the software to fit your Company.

Unlike other software providers, Cool Running Manager gives you the ability to make many changes that do not require a call to the system programmer.

	Inside this tab, you can create as many "Quadrants" or "Delivery Areas" as needed to cover all the routes your company runs in your delivery area. As you set up your customers for routing, they will be separated into the delivery area they are located in.
	Inside this tab, your company can list all the different styles of ice chests owned by your company.
	Within this tab, you can determine the location of your QuickBooks data file and your back up file. Your company will also have the ability to set up one alternative name on your daily receipts. This is helpful if you are doing a job for another ice company.
	Cool Running Manager and Cool Running Driver can not only charge Sales Tax on specific items, you can also charge a specific Sales Tax per customer. In this tab, you can set the sales tax rate of each respective tax area/County and/or State.
	This is the Route Builder. Inside this area, you can pre-set all your daily routes. When you create routes, Cool Running Manager compares the scheduled stops with your pre-set routes to create the daily route list. By using the "Click & Drag" method, you can move stops from one route to another.
